Bihar Police Sub-Ordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has declared the Preliminary Exam Result for Bihar Police Sub-Inspector recruitment under Advt. No. 05/2025. A total of 35,857 candidates have been shortlisted from the prelims for the next stage. The prelims was held from 18 to 21 January 2026 for 1,799 SI posts.

The Mains Exam is scheduled for 19 April 2026. Shortlisted candidates should start preparing immediately — you have limited time.

  3. Download the PDF and search for your roll number using Ctrl+F.
  4. If your roll number is in the list, you are shortlisted for the next stage.

What Happens Next?

Shortlisted candidates will go through the remaining selection stages in this order:

  1. Physical Standard Test (PST) — Height and chest measurements
  2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) — Race, long jump, high jump, and shot put
  3. Mains Written Exam (19 April 2026) — The merit-deciding stage
  4. Medical Examination

Mains Exam — Quick Overview

The Mains Exam has two papers conducted on the same day:

  • Paper I is qualifying only — you must pass it, but marks are not added to merit.
  • Paper II decides your final rank — subjects include General Science, Civics, Indian History, Geography, and Mathematics/Mental Ability.
  • Negative Marking: 0.2 marks per wrong answer
