How to Download DSSSB Admit Card 2026

DSSSB does not send the hall ticket by post. Download it online and take a print on A4 paper (colour or black and white). There is no fee to download the admit card.

  1. Open the admit card login link for your exam window (links are given below).
  2. Method 1: Enter your Class 10 roll number, passing year, date of birth, and password, then log in.
  3. Method 2: Enter your DSSSB application number and date of birth, then log in.
  4. Open the dashboard and click the option to generate or download the admit card.
  5. Check your name, photo, post code, exam date, shift, and centre.
  6. Save the file and print a clear copy to carry to the centre.
💡
Tip: If you do not have your application number, use Method 1 or recover it from the OARS portal at https://dsssbonline.nic.in/.

After you download the hall ticket, confirm these details: name, roll number, application number, date of birth, category, photograph, signature, exam date, shift timing, and centre address. If anything is wrong, contact DSSSB at once.

Exam Schedule and Shifts

DSSSB will conduct the tests in CBT mode, in up to three shifts a day. There is no exam on 2 October 2026 in the current window. Exact date and shift for each candidate are printed only on the admit card.

ShiftExam time
Shift 109:00 AM to 11:00 AM
Shift 201:00 PM to 03:00 PM
Shift 305:00 PM to 07:00 PM

Posts in the 21 September to 24 October 2026 window include Assistant Section Officer / Grade-II (GNCTDSS), Assistant Manager (Air Ticketing, Tourism, Accounts), Assistant Micro Photographist, Work Assistant, Statistical Clerk, Katib (Calligrapher), Patwari, Assistant Grade-I (IT), and Optometrist. Check the official exam schedule PDF for the full date-wise list.

💡
Keep your registered email and mobile number updated on the OARS portal. Non-receipt of SMS is not a valid reason for a re-exam or extra time to download the admit card.

Exam Pattern

The exam is an online Computer Based Test. Each shift is generally 2 hours. The number of questions, subjects, and marking scheme depend on the post code. Read the scheme printed on your admit card and in your advertisement.

Exam Day Guidelines

Reach the centre before the reporting time given on the admit card. Late entry is not allowed. Keep the admit card till the recruitment process ends.

Carry these items:

  • Printed copy of the DSSSB e-admit card
  • Original valid photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID, Driving Licence, or Passport)
  • Passport-size photograph, if the admit card asks for it
  • Any other document named on the hall ticket
⚠️
A mobile copy of the admit card is not enough. Do not take any item that the hall ticket lists as prohibited. Follow all centre staff instructions.

After the Exam

DSSSB will host the question paper and answer key on the exam portal. Log in with your application number and date of birth to see your responses and the official answers. If you have an objection, raise it on the same portal within the given window. The board will declare the result as per its schedule.
