The Madhya Pradesh Employee Selection Board (MPESB) has released the notification for MP Police Constable (General Duty) Recruitment 2026. The board will fill 7500 Constable GD posts. Online applications start on 22 September 2026 and close on 06 October 2026.

Vacancy Details
MPESB has notified a total of 7500 Constable (GD) posts in Madhya Pradesh Police. These posts are split between the Special Armed Force (SAF) and Non-SAF cadres.

For Non-SAF posts, horizontal reservation includes about 2380 posts for women, 2720 open posts, 680 posts for ex-servicemen, and 1020 posts for Home Guards. Candidates who are not domiciled in Madhya Pradesh can apply only in the unreserved (open) category.
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit (as on 06 October 2026)
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Maximum age: 33 years for unreserved and EWS male candidates of Madhya Pradesh, and for candidates from other states
- Maximum age: 38 years for female candidates and for SC, ST and OBC male candidates of Madhya Pradesh
MPESB also gives extra age relaxation to eligible groups as per the official rules. Check the notification before you apply.
Educational Qualification
- General, SC, OBC and EWS candidates must have passed Class 10th (or equivalent) from a recognised board.
- ST candidates must have passed at least Class 8th (or equivalent) from a recognised board.

Salary
Selected Constable (GD) candidates get a pay scale of ₹19,500 – 62,000. During the first three years, they receive a stipend equal to 70%, 80%, and 90% of the minimum pay. After that, they get full pay with allowances such as DA, HRA, and TA as per government rules.
