Tip: Check your exam centre location a day before using Google Maps. If the centre is far from your residence, plan your travel and accommodation in advance to avoid last-minute rush.

Brief Exam Pattern

Detail Information
Mode Online CBT (Computer Based Test)
Total Questions 75
Total Marks 300
Marking +4 for correct, -1 for wrong
Duration 90 Minutes
Paper Type Domain-specific (based on your chosen subject)
💡
Tip: With +4/-1 marking, avoid random guessing. If you can eliminate even one option, an educated guess works in your favour statistically. But if you're completely unsure, it's safer to skip.

What Happens After the Exam?

After the exam window closes, NTA will release the CUET PG scorecard along with the result. Based on your CUET PG score, participating universities (central universities, state universities, and other institutions) will conduct their own counselling or merit-based admission process. Each university sets its own cut-off and admission criteria, so keep checking the admission portals of your preferred universities once the score is out.
