The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the UGC NET June 2026 re-exam result and scorecard. The re-examination for English, Commerce and Sociology was held on 09 and 10 September 2026. Candidates can check and download their scorecard from 18 September 2026 on the official UGC NET website.

UGC NET is a qualifying test for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professor, and admission to Ph.D. programmes. It is not a recruitment for a fixed number of posts.

How to Check UGC NET June 2026 Re Exam Result

Use your login details to view the scorecard on the official portal.

  1. Visit the official website https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in/.
  2. Open the Candidate Activity section.
  3. Click on UGC-NET June 2026 Score Card (Re-Exam).
  4. Enter your application number and date of birth or password.
  5. Submit the details and view your result.
  6. Check your subject, marks and qualifying status.
  7. Download the scorecard and take a printout.

Details on the Scorecard

Check these details carefully on your scorecard:

  • Name, application number and roll number
  • Subject and category
  • Marks obtained
  • Qualifying status
  • Eligibility category (JRF, Assistant Professor, or Ph.D. only)

The online scorecard is for immediate information. The official scorecard and JRF e-certificate, where applicable, will be issued on DigiLocker. Download and keep the DigiLocker copy for all official use.

Cut-Off Marks

NTA has released category-wise cut-off marks for the re-exam subjects. Cut-offs are issued separately for JRF, Assistant Professor and Ph.D. only. They also differ by category such as Unreserved, EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST and PwD.

What Happens Next

Qualified candidates should keep their scorecard ready for university admission, JRF processing and Assistant Professor recruitment. Concerned universities and authorities will verify eligibility, self-declaration and documents as per the UGC NET June 2026 information bulletin.

JRF allocation and e-certificates will follow NTA and UGC rules. Candidates from the 84 subjects already declared on 29 August 2026 need not wait for this re-exam result.
