Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the Answer Key for the Section Controller CBT Exam (CEN 04/2025) on 26th February 2026. The Computer Based Test was conducted on 11–12 February 2026 for a total of 368 Section Controller posts across Indian Railways. Candidates who appeared in the exam can now download the answer key and raise objections if needed.

How to Download the Answer Key

  1. Visit the RRB exam portal at rrb.digialm.com.
  2. Log in using your Registration Number and Date of Birth / Password.
  3. Select the Section Controller CBT – CEN 04/2025 exam.
  4. Your question paper with the marked responses and the official answer key will be displayed.
  5. Download or take a screenshot for your reference.

The CBT has negative marking of 1/3 mark for each wrong answer. Account for this while calculating your estimated score to get an accurate picture.

How to Raise Objections

If you believe any answer in the key is incorrect, you can raise objections through the same portal. Make sure to:

  • Log in to the RRB candidate portal where you downloaded the answer key.
  • Select the question(s) you want to challenge.
  • Provide valid supporting references or proof for each objection.
  • Submit within the objection window (check the portal for exact dates).

What Happens Next?

The selection process for Section Controller involves multiple stages:

  1. CBT Result — Based on the final answer key after reviewing objections. The CBT carries 70% weightage in the final merit.
  2. CBAT (Computer Based Aptitude Test) — Shortlisted candidates will appear for the aptitude test, which carries 30% weightage. You must score a minimum T-score of 42 in each test battery to qualify. There is no negative marking in CBAT.
  3. Document Verification — Successful candidates will be called for DV.
  4. Medical Examination — A-2 medical standard applies, which is strict especially for vision.

Candidates who have undergone Lasik surgery or any corrective eye surgery are not eligible for the Section Controller post. The A-2 medical standard requires natural vision of 6/9 in both eyes without glasses, along with clearance in colour vision, binocular vision, night vision, and mesopic vision tests.
