Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared the CPO SI Paper-I Result on 30 March 2026 for 3,073 Sub-Inspector vacancies in Delhi Police and CAPFs. The Paper-I CBT was conducted from 9 to 12 December 2025. Over 48,000 candidates have been shortlisted for the next stage.

The result is published as three separate PDF lists — List-1 (Female), List-2 (Male), and List-3 (Delhi Police Departmental). Make sure you check the correct list for your category.

How to Check Your Result

  1. Visit the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in.
  2. Go to the Results section on the homepage.
  3. Find and download the CPO SI Paper-I Result PDF for your category (Female / Male / Departmental).
  4. Search for your roll number in the PDF using Ctrl+F.
  5. If your roll number appears, you are shortlisted for PET/PST.

What Happens Next?

Shortlisted candidates will go through the remaining stages in this order:

  1. Physical Endurance Test (PET) & Physical Standard Test (PST) — Height, chest measurements, and physical tests (qualifying, no marks)
  2. Paper-II (CBT) — English Language & Comprehension (200 questions, 200 marks, 2 hours)
  3. Medical Examination
  4. Document Verification

Your final merit will be based on Paper-I + Paper-II combined (total 400 marks). PET/PST and Medical are qualifying only — no marks are added from these stages.

PET/PST Standards to Prepare For

Since PET/PST is the immediate next stage, here's what you need to clear:

Eyesight standards are strict — minimum 6/6 (better eye) and 6/9 (worse eye) without any correction. LASIK or glasses are not allowed. Also, male candidates applying for Delhi Police SI must have a valid LMV driving licence ready at the PET/PST stage.

Paper-II — Start Preparing Now

Paper-II is entirely English Language & Comprehension — 200 MCQs for 200 marks in 2 hours, with 0.25 negative marking per wrong answer. This paper carries equal weight as Paper-I in your final merit, so strong preparation here can significantly improve your rank.

Tip: If you hold an NCC certificate, bonus marks will be added to your total: +10 marks for NCC 'C', +6 for 'B', and +4 for 'A' certificate.
