SSC GD Constable Exam Date 2026
The Staff Selection Commission has released the exam schedule for SSC GD Constable 2026 recruitment. The computer-based examination will begin from 23 February 2026 and will continue across multiple shifts on different days. This recruitment is being conducted for 25,487 vacancies across CAPF, SSF, and Assam Rifles. Given the large number of applicants, the examination will be held over several days in multiple shifts.

SSC will release the admit card on the regional SSC websites before the examination. Candidates should keep checking the official website regularly as SSC does not send individual intimation.

What to carry

Reporting Time
Candidates must reach the exam center at least 60 minutes before the scheduled shift time. Entry gates typically close 30 minutes before the exam begins. Late arrivals will not be permitted under any circumstances.
What Happens After the Exam?
After the computer-based examination, SSC will release the answer keys for candidates to raise objections. The result will be declared after processing all objections. Candidates who qualify the CBE will be called for Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST), followed by medical examination and document verification.
