SSC MTS / Havaldar Exam City Details 2026
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the exam date notice and city details for the MTS (Non-Technical) & Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination 2025. The Paper 1 Computer Based Exam begins from 04 February 2026 and will be conducted in multiple shifts across India. How to Check Exam City & Download Admit Card
- Visit the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in.
- Click on the "Exam City Details" link for MTS/Havaldar Exam 2025.
- Log in using your Registration Number, Date of Birth, and other credentials.
- Check your allotted exam city and note it down.
- Once the admit card is released on the regional SSC website, download and print it.

Exam Pattern — Paper 1 (CBT)
Paper 1 is divided into two sessions with different rules for negative marking. Total duration is 90 minutes (45 minutes per session).

Exam Day Guidelines
What to carry:
- Printed admit card with clear photograph
- Valid photo ID (Aadhaar, Voter ID, Passport, or Driving License)
- Passport-size photographs (same as uploaded in application)
What NOT to carry:
- Mobile phones, calculators, or any electronic devices
- Books, notes, or any study material
- Bags, wallets, or watches (at some centers)
What Happens After the Exam
Paper 1 is qualifying in nature. Candidates who clear the cut-off will be called for Paper 2 (Computer Based), which is merit-based for MTS and qualifying for Havaldar. Normalization will be applied across shifts. Final selection is based on Paper 2 performance followed by Document Verification.
