These posts are for lecturer cadre teachers in non-government aided secondary schools across Uttar Pradesh.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must hold a Master’s Degree in the relevant subject from a recognised university. Subject-wise qualification rules differ for each PGT subject.
Salary
Selected PGT teachers will get pay as per Pay Level 8: ₹47,600 – 1,51,100, plus allowances as per Uttar Pradesh government rules.
Selection Process
UPESSC will select candidates through the following stages:
- Written Exam
- Interview (Viva-Voce)
- Document Verification
The written exam is scheduled for 15 and 16 December 2026. Admit cards will be issued before the exam.
