UPESSC Principal Admit Card 2026

The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has released the admit card for the Principal written exam under Advt. No. 02/2026. The exam will be held on 24 September 2026 for 111 Principal posts in aided co-education and women’s degree colleges. Candidates can download the exam city details and admit card from the official portal using their registration details.

How to Download UPESSC Principal Admit Card 2026

Visit the official UPESSC website or the admit card portal at https://admitcards.upessc.org/login.
Open the Latest Announcements / Examination section.
Click the link for UPESSC Principal Admit Card 2026 or exam city / admit card.
Enter your Registration Number / Application Number and Date of Birth / Password.
Click Submit / Login.
Check your name, roll number, exam date, shift, reporting time and centre.
Download the admit card and take a clear printout for the exam centre.

Tip: Take at least two printouts. Keep one extra copy with you on exam day.

Exam Pattern

The written exam is an objective test of 120 questions for 360 marks. The paper duration is 2 hours.

Each correct answer carries 3 marks. 1 mark is deducted for each wrong or multiple answer.

Exam Day Guidelines

The exam will be held in a single shift at two centres in Lucknow. About 813 eligible candidates are expected to appear.

Carry these items:

A printed copy of the UPESSC Principal Admit Card 2026
A valid photo ID, as mentioned on the admit card

You will not be allowed to sit in the exam without a valid printed admit card. A city slip or a phone copy is not enough on exam day.

Follow the reporting time printed on your admit card. Reach the centre early so you have time for entry checks. Read all instructions on the admit card and follow them at the centre.

After the Exam

UPESSC will announce the written exam result on its official website. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an Interview (Viva-Voce) of 40 marks, followed by Document Verification. Final selection is based on the written exam and interview, as per the official notification.
