The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has started online applications for Veterinary Pharmacist recruitment 2026. The commission will fill 1,308 posts under the Directorate of Animal Husbandry through Advertisement No. 18-Exam/2026. Eligible candidates can apply from 14 September 2026 to 05 October 2026.

Only candidates who appeared in UPSSSC PET 2025 and hold a valid scorecard can apply. Candidates with a zero or negative PET score are not eligible.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must meet all of the following on the last date of application:

  • Valid UPSSSC PET 2025 scorecard
  • Intermediate (10+2) with Biology from the UP Board or an equivalent recognised examination
  • 2-year 3-month Diploma in Veterinary Pharmacy from a recognised university or institution
  • Registration with the competent council or institution, wherever applicable
  • Knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari script

Preference may be given to candidates who have served at least two years in the Territorial Army or hold an NCC ‘B’ certificate, subject to the official rules.

Pay the fee online through debit card, credit card, internet banking, IMPS, cash card, or mobile wallet.

This ₹25 amount is the online processing fee. Candidates shortlisted for the Mains exam will have to pay a separate exam fee later, as per UPSSSC rules.

Salary

Selected candidates will get Pay Matrix Level-5 with a pay scale of ₹29,200 – ₹92,300, plus allowances as per Uttar Pradesh government rules.

Selection Process

UPSSSC will select candidates through the following stages:

  • PET 2025 shortlisting on the basis of the normalised PET score
  • Mains written examination
  • Document verification
  • Final merit list

The Mains exam date will be announced later on the official website.

How to Apply

Apply online only on the UPSSSC website before 05 October 2026.

  1. Visit the official website https://upsssc.gov.in/.
  2. Open the live advertisement for Veterinary Pharmacist Main Examination 2026.
  3. Log in with your PET 2025 registration number and the OTP sent to your registered mobile number or email.
  4. Check the personal details auto-filled from your PET 2025 record.
  5. Enter your educational qualification and other required details.
  6. Pay the ₹25 processing fee online.
  7. Submit the form, then download and print the application for future use.

Tip: Photo and signature uploaded during PET 2025 are used automatically. Keep your PET registration number, mobile number, and email ready before you start.

Do not wait for the last date. Complete fee payment by 05 October 2026. You can correct the form only till 12 October 2026.
